My boss Dana (who I like to refer to as D-Dubbs) just got featured in Soliel Moon Frye's new web series HerSay. I am totally showing her off because she truly is an inspiration to me. Working at Celebrity Owned and for someone like Dana is not only fun as shit, but educational and motivating. Dana has sorta taken me under her wing to show me the ropes of the online fashion world and it's shed a completely new light on my passion for fashion. D-Dubbs stumbled upon her business about 7 years ago and has turned it into an insanely successful company. Waking up and looking forward to going into work is SO rare and I thank my lucky starts everyday this job is mine. Janis Joplin singing Ball & Chain at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967. One of my favorite live songs and videos. My ex-boyfriend recorded a music program on his DVR and I totally connected with this video. I'd curl up on his couch at night and watch it over and over again. It's funny to look at the shock and amazement on everyone's face in the audience (including Mama Cass). I also heard that this was the first show Janis spent a boat load of $$$$ on for a new more conservative outfit to impress the crowd. Enjoy!
